KAYAKING TRIPS AND COURSES
We are keen to bring kayaking closer to the many visitors who come to visit our beautiful Soča river. Since rafting – the old mainstay of river tourism – leaves much to be desired in terms of pure water experience we decided to set up kayaking trips for complete beginners. We use special sit-on-top kayaks which are very beginner friendly while providing enough of a challenge for experienced kayakers. Our trips are excellent for families with small children as parents are free to enjoy the river while kids are safe in the hands of our guide on a two-seater kayak. For those keen to learn or improve their kayaking technique we offer full whitewater kayaking courses. Our kayaking school and instructors always adapt to the specific needs and wishes of our clients. All instructors have the international “Kayak instructor II and III” licence. Canyoning is – in a single sentence – jumping into crystal clear pools, abseiling over waterfalls and an unforgettable experience of nature’s wonders. Canyoning is a sport which invariably causes adrenaline to flow through your veins in massive quantities, but not only from the heights and precipices, also due to the unbelievable wonders of nature which you can only experience through canyoning. We offer professionally guided tours in canyons with a medium and higher degree of difficulty (Fratarca, Globoški potok, Mlinarca,…), so a knowledge of abseiling is necessary and always verified prior to the trip.
